There are still postgraduate students who are almost finished with their studies and have not finished writing their dissertations. It is necessary to carry out activities to help students complete their dissertation writing efficiently and focus, making it easier for students to find the necessary reference materials.

To make the schedule realized, the Postgraduate of Yogyakarta State University carries out a Writing Camp Workshop where students are facilitated in the postgraduate library, both access to references, independent workspaces, and other facilities so that students can work optimally in completing their writing without being disturbed by other activities.

The Writing Camp activity was opened by the Postgraduate Director of Yogyakarta State University, Prof. Dr. Anik Ghufron, M.Pd., followed by 18 students. In the opening, the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Dr. Slamet Suyanto, M.Ed. as a resource person, explained the activity's purpose and objectives and conveyed material about writing a good and correct dissertation and things that students need to do during the activity.

Every day students work to complete their dissertation writing in the library room, where various necessities are provided for students to complete their dissertation writing. Food is also provided so that students don't have to go out for lunch, independent workspace, internet access, access to references for writing, consultant lecturers, and facilitation of online/offline guidance with the promoter/co-promoter.

In addition to the promoters and co-promoters, consultant lecturers are provided daily for students to consult about writing their dissertations. The task of the Consultant Lecturer is to serve student consultations, provide the best solution for students, and record the consultation results. This activity aims to provide the assistance needed by students related to the completion of their dissertation writing.
