“INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP AND EXCHANGE TO MUNSTER UNIVERSITY: TEACHING DIVERSITY – DIVERSITY IN TEACHING IN CRITICAL CONTEXT”

International Summer Camp is a follow-up activity of Summer Camp 2022 and was held in Münster, Germany. International Summer Camp also has the same mission and vision of introducing activities, strengthening the understanding of what diversity is, and developing an education in children's literature. This event in Germany aims to support students and teacher training by promoting critical literacy education as a decisive role in schools internationally. The two-week International Summer Camp in Rothenburg was filled with various activities in addition to workshops for students and teachers on the use of diversity-oriented children's literature, a Multi–Professional Round Table, and a national tandem study for the development of teaching materials aimed at introducing diversity. In addition, there was also cooperation with schools in Germany by visiting schools to make observations about differences and diversity in teaching methods in schools.

 The International Summer Camp consisted of various activities. In the first activity, participants spent three days at the Landhaus Rothenburg of the University of Münster, and in this activity, the participants got acquainted and discussed diversity on a more theoretical and practical level. The participants will be taught how to handle challenges facing diversity in a critical situation. Additionally, the International Summer Camp aims to reveal cultural changes between participants so that during the Multi–Professional Round Table, participants will actively participate in a discussion about diversity from different TTDT perspectives according to their personal opinions after listening to the speakers. Then lastly, got to know more about cultures in the city of Münster by tour and the tour guides.
